The Role of Presence
An end-of-life doula provides non-medical support, focusing on the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the individual and their family. Julia serves as a calm, compassionate presence, helping to navigate the complexities of long-term illness and the transition process with dignity and peace. Her education in World Religions and Clinical Pastoral Studies combined with her experience as a Coordinator of Spiritual Care and Chaplain brings a trauma informed, non-judgmental, & ecumenical approach to spiritual and religious support.
